Prescriber Notifications

The Board of Pharmacy received notification on October 14, 2022, that Mohammed Ahmed, M.D. voluntarily agreed to retire Medical License on September 19, 2022.  

Please see the regulation below that states no prescription is valid 30 days after the prescriber/patient relationship is terminated. 

Article XII (8) of the Mississippi Pharmacy Regulations states, "A prescription becomes invalid thirty (30) days after the prescriber/patient relationship is terminated..."

The Board of Pharmacy received notification on October 11, 2022, that Jody T. Adams, NP no longer has authority to prescribe controlled substances. Please do not fill or refill any controlled substances written by this prescriber.

Huong Pham, M.D.'s license to practice medicine was suspended on July 21, 2022. No remaining prescriptions or previously authorized refills are valid.
