New Pharmacy Technician Applicants
Anyone desiring to work as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Mississippi is required to obtain a Mississippi Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician Registration. To apply, candidates must meet the following criterion:
- at least 18 years of age
- have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- submit the Pharmacy Technician Registration Application

Pharmacy Technician Renewals
Per an update to our regulations, Article XL Pharmacy Technicians, the MS Board of Pharmacy no longer requires pharmacy technicians to be PTCB certified. However, your employer has the right to require the certification for employment.
