Changes to Pharmacy Technician Testing Requirements for PTCB

New Pharmacy Technician Applicants
Anyone desiring to work as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Mississippi is required to obtain a Mississippi Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician Registration. To apply, candidates must meet the following criterion: at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and submit the Pharmacy Technician Registration Application.
You must complete your Pharmacy Technician Application through our License Gateway. WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PAPER APPLICATIONS. You will upload all required documents to your profile.

Pharmacy Technician Renewals
In order for Pharmacy Technicians to renew their registration, they must be nationally certified with one of the following organizations: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA ExCPT).
In order to renew your registration, you must sign into the online portal. WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING PAPER APPLICATIONS.
